I received fantastic help from Noel over at the Newcastle location. He took the time to find the right package for me and ended up saving me a bunch of cash by double-checking everything with the manufacturer.

Hey, I attempted to reach out to Cawdor Cars in Llanelli regarding a recall for my Astra. Simon picked up the call, but after asking about my vehicle, he just hung up on me. I called back a couple of times, but got cut off after about four minutes. On 11/6/2022 at 10:09, I finally managed to connect with FRF Vauxhall in Swansea, and they were able to assist me. I’ll be taking my Astra there for the warranty repairs. Later, I received a voicemail from Cawdor Cars around 10:50, saying something about their phones being down, which felt like a load of nonsense.

I had a fantastic experience with the customer service at the Carmarthen location. My leased vehicle required a service and some brake work. They had a bit of trouble locating the parts at first, but they managed to get them so that all the repairs could be done in one day. I was kept in the loop the whole time. When I picked up my car, it was spotless and everything was set to go. Honestly, it was a seamless experience, and I was really impressed. Big thanks and kudos to the team!

I got a lot of promises over the phone that the van I was interested in was in top-notch condition. So, I decided to pay for an RAC report before making the 200-mile trip to check it out. The report was a real eye-opener, and the engineer advised me to steer clear of it. The sales rep had completely misled me. When I requested a refund for the report since it was obvious the vehicle was not up to par, I was just brushed off and ignored from then on.

Our uncle purchased a vehicle from this place, and it developed a major issue just weeks later. Cawdor took the car back but wouldn’t cover the repairs under their so-called 'warranty'. They kept the car for three months, leaving our elderly uncle without a way to get around until he had to hire a trustworthy mechanic to retrieve and fix it at his own expense. Cawdor has never expressed any regret for leaving an older gentleman in a tough spot or compensated him for the tax and insurance costs he incurred while they held onto the car. BEWARE!!!!

Just grabbed my third car from Cawdor Carmarthen today. They went above and beyond, making sure everything was smooth sailing! Big thanks to the team. I'm really loving my new Corsa!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS GARAGE! They’re totally untrustworthy and shouldn’t even be allowed to operate as a main dealer.

I just picked up my second vehicle from Cawdor NCE. Both times, Noel provided outstanding sales support. The first ride was a Grandland, which my family jokingly dubbed Vauxhall Grandad. I thought it was perfect, but my wife found it a bit bulky and a hassle to back up. So, I decided to go with a Crossland elite nav instead. It’s a real bummer that I had to shell out extra for leather seats and a reverse camera, as those features usually come standard on higher-end models. Regardless, we now have a Crossland that fits our needs well—it's comfy and a fantastic drive. Noel's friendly, no-fuss approach made the buying process a breeze, even when I had some tricky requests. From my first car to this one, every sales and service staff member has treated me with great respect and professionalism. If my experience had been any less, I wouldn’t have returned for a second vehicle. Big thanks to Cawdor!

We bought a Hyundai IX35 CDTi Auto that seemed alright at first but soon developed multiple issues. The main dealers (not Cawdor) checked it out and claimed the vehicle had been in a crash, pointing to a shoddy front-end repair, a non-original radiator cap, and swapped headlights. Problems included the air conditioning failing, an oil leak from the gearbox casing, oil dripping from the differential, and brake disks that were excessively worn, among others. Since January 2020, the car has been off the road multiple times. It was losing power, shaking, and revving too high, making it dangerous to drive. The main dealers recommended immediate repairs for what they called 'major faults.' The bill for these repairs was over £1500. Cawdor hasn't responded to a letter we hand-delivered outlining our complaint. We included all the details of the issues from the main dealer, which Cawdor directed us to, claiming they lacked the tools to perform the diagnostic tests.

Honestly, if I were in your shoes, I'd steer clear of this business, especially the Workshop in Llanelli.

They charged me £90.00 just for a diagnostic on my son's Vauxhall Corsa, then they had the nerve to quote me £1,500.00 for a new ECU, claiming it was defective. After getting a second opinion and shelling out for another diagnostic with a different shop, I managed to get the car fixed for just £86.00.

I requested my £90.00 back from Cawdor Cars in Llanelli, but they flat out refused, offering yet another diagnostic check for free instead. Yeah right, I didn’t trust them from the get-go. Cawdor Cars will take your cash and give you next to nothing in return. Definitely a company you can't rely on.

Bought 2 vehicles from this dealership, service was lacking. They didn’t return my calls or emails. The car wasn’t as described, really disappointing. Still waiting on the V5 to be sent. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALER.
